but I was just introduced to Pandora Radio and if you love music, you'll love this site. It's the radio on the Internet...kind of. Just make an account (takes two seconds), then type in a band you like, they'll play songs by them and other bands that sounds like them too.

You should also try www.slacker.com if you like that. I have tried pandora too and prefer slacker. I listen to it all day at work. You can customize your station and choose bands you want and what not. You can also get music on yahoo but it takes a lot of choosing genres and rating music and songs and bands you didn't choose. Good stuff.
two years ago, I discovered a new band there that has become my favorite of all time. above everyone. everything I had ever loved was suddenly two rungs beneath them. no little hot new thang can do that (they're not big at all). at the time, I was pushing 600 CD's, collecting since I was 14. this band obliterated everything for me. found 'em on the sigur ros channel. then I went to their own channel, and was amazed. saw them when they came to LA in some swanky back alley. it was love at first sound.
used to listen to pandora at work before I went back to school full time. use it sparingly, else your favorite channels quickly become stagnant and repeatable.

I agree with 13 Stoploss. Pandora doesn't have a very large library and repeats itself very quickly.
last.fm is my internet radio now.
My pandora always wants me to listen to social distortion, who i don't care for. Other than that I like.
