Read Crane's story here.
I joined the Army Reserves in 2001 at the age of 17. I found myself in Balad, Iraq from 2004-2005. I walked around Camp Anaconda and parts of Iraq with a camera in one hand and a notebook in the other. These are my scribbles about my experience in Iraq and returning home.

An Army sniper in Iraq a few years ago...was being interviewed by a reporter. The reporter asked: "What do you feel when you look through the scope, pull the trigger and know you've killed a terrorist?"
The Sniper, carefully thought the question over...the reporter figured he'd get a really good answer.
The Sniper repsonded with: "Recoil."
