My American-Iraq Life

I joined the Army Reserves in 2001 at the age of 17. I found myself in Balad, Iraq from 2004-2005. I walked around Camp Anaconda and parts of Iraq with a camera in one hand and a notebook in the other. Every week I submitted my photographs and articles to The Anaconda Times. Flash-forward four years; I’m 25 and still in college. I’m currently a senior at the University at Albany majoring in Journalism. December 26th: I am now officially out of the Army.
