Too late for me. But I'd suggest that any time a person is going to talk to a recuriter, that the person take a vet with them to make sure they get the job etc that they want.
I ended up as a Grunt when I joined the regular army many, many years ago...in those days, most Grunts could not read or write above a 3rd grade level...I could, so I had to actually read manuals to other soldiers.
My "thinking about joining the military" boat sailed long ago, but I am interested in getting your views on sexual harrassment in the military...
I was thinking about joining the Navy reserves. I am 22 and will 23 in '10. My family is a big military family, so it just seems the right thing to do. I always wanted to join, but i will be the first girl to do so.
My BF is Army reserves and curently in Iraq & when i hear him talk about what hes doing over there, I can help but want to be a part of it all.
I curently work a full time job and enrolled as a full time online student.
Is there any advise that you could give me about what to "watch out" for when talking to a recuter and how this may effect my current relationship?
